Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose Acetate Succinate Is An Enteric Coating Agent With Multiple Coating Methods And Its Grades Are Obtained When HPMC Is Blended With Acetic Anhydride And Succinic Anhydride. AQOAT Grades Are Differentiated From Each Other Based On Acetyl Content, Succinoyl Content, Partical Size, And Hence The Typical Application. AS-LF, AS-MF, AS-HF Are The Micronised Grades Of 5 µm For Aqueous Enteric Coating While AS-LG, AS-MG, AS-HG Are The Granular Grades Of 1000 µm For Solvent Based Enteric Coating Of Solid Dosages.
